What would you like to do/create for your independent component?
I would like to create a sort of portfolio with Drawings and what not partaining to my studies about art and, more specifically, Entertainment Art. I asked a couple of seniors last year who did Art what they did for their independent component and they said they drew in their sketch book and practiced.
Explain how you think this will be a worthwhile use of 30 hours?
Well, by drawing constantly I will be practicing and developing my skills as an artist and get possible ideas for my final product.
How will this help you to answer your EQ?
I think that it will help me answer my EQ, because Ill be able to see my skill progress through the year in a sketchbook. Also by taking classes and learning more about Entertainment Design, I can learn how to better my skills by looking back and see where I need improvement.
So, in the past, I haven't been too impressed with people's sketchbooks (probably because my husband is an artist, and he works very quickly). It would help me if you kept a log for each drawing with specifics of what you did and how long it took. Thanks.
