Who do you plan to interview? Why?
I plan on interviewing a local art teacher who graduated from Pasadena Art Center with a Bachelors degree in Illustration, which is the topic I chose for my senior project. The reason I want to interview him, is because he is conveniently located in my town just a few miles away, and also he majored in my topic choice.
What other questions Do you plan to ask?
What do you think it takes to become an Illustrator?
What subjects did you learn while at Pasadena Art Center to recieve your degree?
Is it good to have a broad range of art styles to be an illustrator?
Does becoming an artist take any special skills?
Great! You did settle on a project. I didn't want to push you, but I feel that you will be able to keep your motivation up with this since it is a career aspiration. You certainly are artistic : )
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you've found someone who works in the field and graduated from a very respected art college. I'm hoping you already have this scheduled; if not, it is due in about a week, so get on it; )
Your last question about special skills might need to be rephrased as artists need special skills in art! Maybe something like, "What abilities/skills will make me most sought after in the job market after obtaining my degree?"
Otherwise, this is very nice.
Oh yes, I wrote the last question very vaguely but meant it to be
ReplyDelete"What art skills does an illustrator need or needs to develop to become successful?"
